Oasis Outreach Series

About this series

The OASIS Outreach Wellbeing Series brings together psychology, mindfulness, and somatic practice to create a more integrated approach to mental wellbeing. Psychology gives us a framework to better understand ourselves. Mindfulness helps us slow down enough to notice what is happening within us. Somatic practice then brings that understanding into the body, giving us the opportunity to experience and embody what we have learned rather than leaving with knowledge alone.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we explore the belief that wellbeing is about more than simply learning how to cope. While coping helps us navigate difficult seasons, lasting wellbeing is also cultivated through understanding ourselves more deeply, connecting meaningfully with others, and developing a greater sense of safety within. Through a series of thoughtfully designed workshops, we invite participants to move from insight into integration — leaving each experience with not only a greater understanding of themselves, but a lived experience of the practices that can support them through life.

Workshop Format

  • 60 minutes — Arrive & Understand
Settling in, introduction, and facilitated teaching, with opportunities for interaction, discussion, and personal reflection woven throughout.

  • 20 minutes — Reflect & Integrate
Guided reflection, mindfulness, and journaling, followed by an opportunity for questions and shared insights.

  • 10 minutes — Pause
A short break to reset before transitioning from learning into embodied practice.

  • 90 minutes — Embody
A fully supported Restorative Yoga practice designed to bring the concepts explored during the workshop into lived, embodied experience.

Choose from the individual sessions, or undertake them as a series, over 4 Saturday afternoon in October.
