A counsellor, a restorative yoga teacher, and a mother learning to grow through life’s many transitions.

Life is constantly inviting us into change — new roles, new seasons, new challenges, new versions of ourselves. Even the changes we choose can stir uncertainty, stretch our capacity, and ask us to step beyond what feels familiar. We might believe that courage, grit, or preparation is what carries us through transition. But so often, it’s something softer — an inner anchor, a secure base we can return to again and again to feel grounded, safe, and supported.

As the year winds down, our bodies carry the imprints of everything we’ve held — the emotions we’ve supported, the roles we’ve stepped into, the expectations we’ve managed. Before the new year begins, this session offers a gentle pause: a chance to return inward, soften the edges, and reconnect with the grounded sense of safety we all long for.

I’m Scarlette — a counsellor, a restorative yoga teacher, and a mother learning to grow through life’s many transitions. Over the past year, those transitions have included relocating our family, taking a leap of faith to build my counselling practice, and finding my own rhythm between meaningful work and being present for my child as I learn what it truly means to be a parent. These experiences have shown me that I can only move through change when I anchor into what supports me, offer myself tenderness, and allow space for my imperfect humanity.

This restorative practice is an invitation to explore what it means to feel anchored — not by certainty or perfection, but by compassion, breath, and the quiet stability that comes from within. Through fully supported postures and mindful stillness, we create space for your nervous system to settle, your body to exhale, and your heart to remember that it is allowed to rest.

Whether you’re arriving with stress, curiosity, or a desire to reconnect with yourself, you are warmly welcome.

With love, Scarlette
